This is Part 1 of a 2 part class in beginner quilting. The project is a tossed 9-patch lap sized quilt and we will cover everything up to and including the quilting process. Each session is 3 hours and is taught by Lori Hunter.
Part 2 continues on December 5 at 1:00.
The picture of the block doesn’t begin to do it justice. It has a warm, traditional, cozy look about it.
Cost: $50 for the 6 hours plus cost of the pattern, fabric, which is 2 charm packs, border and backing fabric. We will use a self-binding technique, so there will be no additional cost for binding fabric. Fabric collection to be used is Atelier de France by French General for Moda.
Sewing machines are available as class loaners if you don’t want to carry yours in. Use of a loaner requires 30 minutes of getting acquainted with the machine sometime before start of class.
Instruction starts at 1:00 sharp.
