This is the third class in the Introduction to Sewing series. In the first class we cleaned and oiled the sewing machine and replaced the needle using supplies from our supplied kit for the class. We also discussed different common types of scissors, rotary cutters and mats and went on to practice a method of squaring up fabric in preparation for cutting. The second class focused on accurate seaming by making a pillowcase.
This third class in the series will focus on detailed processes. All are easy, and you’ll walk out of the class with a couple of very useful items…a cosmetic bag and a tissue holder!
This class is offered as a day or evening class. Instructor: Marcie McDonald
Class Fee $20 includes a $5 discount toward the purchase of fabric for your pillowcase.
NOTE: Classes in the Introduction to Sewing series build upon each other, but can be taken independently of the others.
